Appointment of Managing Director for ID Data Limited
ID Data Group plc (AIM:IDD), the smart card and card solutions group, today announces that it has appointed Mr Alan Jordan as Managing Director of ID Data Limited, the Company’s core operating business focused on card solutions.
Alan joins ID Data with a strong background in the card related industry and was, prior to this appointment, Chief Executive of Oakhill Group plc, now renamed Prime Active Capital plc, and was responsible for its successful restructuring and turnaround to profitability.
Commenting on the appointment, Peter Cox, Chief Executive of ID Data, said: “The appointment of Alan to the board of ID Data Ltd is one more positive step in confirming that we are dedicated to growing a profitable business in the card solutions area. I am confident that Alan’s business development skills and card industry experience will assist us in building on what has been a very productive period of change for our core card solutions unit.
“Alan has a track record of success in business development, in senior management positions in a public company environment, covering a number of industries including plastic cards, electrical, food and IT.
“Alan’s appointment strengthens our operational management and builds our internal management resources that are so key to our succession plans over the coming years.”
