ID Data helped to conceive and launch the Tesco Clubcard in 1994, which was and remains one of the biggest loyalty schemes in Europe, with around 10 million members. Since the initial launch ID Data has completed several major card re-issues and introduced the highly successful Key fob, which is now available to all members, providing a companion key to the major cardholder.
Personalising the cards was not initially part of the schemes' requirements, but once understanding the benefits from issuing personalised cards, Tesco was committed and keen to implement this. ID Data managed the data, production and fulfilment, and successfully delivered the completed personalised cards and associated mailing, which has subsequently provided Tesco with a more targeted scheme card and profiling tool.
Our work with a variety of retailers and UK banks means that we have a full portfolio of personalisation options. We are also accredited to EMV secure standards, so that the integrity of cards throughout the supply chain is assured. We can also verify and cleanse your data as part of a personalisation programme.
